Ruffled Net Bracelet
Tuesday, July 8 - 1PM - 3PM

A classic bracelet with a picot edge. It can take on a totally different look depending on the beads you choose. For instance, choose shiny beads for a diva flash or beads with a soft matte finish for everyday wear. Works up great in size 6 seed beads, but can be made with size 11 seed beads (it just takes longer to make).

Kumihimo Beaded Bracelet
Wednesday, July 9 - 6PM - 9PM

Dee has updated the ancient Japanese art form of braid making by weaving sparkling Swarovski crystals and luscious colored seed beads together to create a solid-beaded, eye-catching bracelet. The best part is that this bracelet is very easy to make and there are no needles to contend with. This bracelet can be finished in a couple of hours. Keep in mind that it can be made with or without the bling of crystals so it will make an appropriate gift for all ages. Class is limited to six students

PLEASE NOTE: Supply kits for this class must be picked up in advance so that beads can be strung prior to class dates.

Serpentine Bracelet
Thursday, July 10 - 1PM - 3PM

This is a perfect class for beginning seed beaders. Using a simple, even-count flat Peyote-stitch pattern allows you to create a wavy, snake-like pattern by contrasting round seed beads with slightly larger square shaped beads. You will love the feel of this bracelet as it slinks around your wrist.

Basic Beading Techniques
Thursday, July 10 - 6PM - 8PM

Expand your horizons with this class designed specifically for the needs of a beginner. Become more comfortable with tools. Learn and hone finishing techniques. Explore color matching and placement techniques for superior design. You will take home a finished bracelet and pair of earrings for yourself or as a gift.

Wire Wrapped Cabochon
Saturday, July 12 - 12PM - 3PM

Learn this great technique to make a fantastic pendant! This class will cover how to create a sterling silver frame out of wire to fit a cabochon, then how to set the stone into it. Returning students may use the class to wrap more complicated stones and shapes.

Crystal Flowers Bracelet

In this class students get a two-for-one deal; learn to create these adorable crystal flower components which work up with remarkable ease. Then learn how to link them together with crystal leaves and attach a clasp to make this sweet little bracelet. A great project for beginners or more skilled students. This bracelet can easily be sized to fit and colors can be altered to your liking.

Chain Maille w/Sterling Silver Beads

This original chain maille pattern was designed by Kelly O’Brien herself. Kelly has created a stunning bracelet which can be finished in the three-hour time frame. For those of you who would like to extend the project to make a necklace, Kelly will show you how to accommodate that.

About Our Classroom and Classes

MoonRise Bead Company offers a well-lit classroom for all our classes and parties, with plenty of seating and room to spread out.

We offer several convenient ways to register for classes. Please choose from below:

•  Phone: 412-380-BEAD (during business hours) Please have your Visa/MasterCard or Discover Card ready.

•  Fax: 412-380-2324 - Complete the registration form by clicking here and fax it to the store anytime.

•  In person: Our store hours are 10am-5:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday. Thursday 10am-8:00pm. Saturday 10am-4:00pm and Sunday 11:00am-4:00pm.

Classes are limited. To assure your space, please pre-pay upon registration. It is also advisable to arrive at least 20 minutes earlier than class start time to settle in and organize your selections based on our class material sheet.

IMPORTANT CLASS POLICY TERMS-PLEASE READ:

MoonRise Bead Company will not sell or otherwise give your personal information or email address to anyone. We intend to use this information only to provide better service to you, our customers, and to make you aware of special happenings at our store prior to advertising to the general public. We welcome your comments and suggestions.

You must pre-register for all classes due to the limit of students per class. Payment in full is requested upon registration. Refunds will be given only if there is a valid excuse or with 24-hour notice. Refunds for classes will be given in the form of store credit which can be used for future classes and/or merchandise. We will not provide the aforementioned refund policy simply because you don't attend, unless we can fill your spot, in advance, as some classes do have waiting lists. Conversely, all classes require a minimum number of students in attendance. Therefore, unless a class meets that requirement MoonRise reserves the right to cancel that class. If this occurs, the class will be rescheduled or refunds in the form of store credit will be given.

After registration and payment has been made, we will supply you with a class materials list. It is advisable to make your selections the day before the class is held in order not to cause a delay in the class start time. You may leave your selections at the store, paying for them the day of the class and you can use the 10% discount for both the class materials and your total purchase amount the day of the class.
